Company History
Envel Informationssysteme GmbH was founded in 1995 as a software and service company in the IT industry. The company idea was the development of individual and innovative software solutions based on state-of-the-art technologies.
One of the first main business areas was the creation of highly available software solutions that were developed specifically for industrial use. These included redundant client/server solutions, which were characterized in particular by their high resilience and performance in continuous operation and in the handling of very large amounts of data.
In 1996, the automation sector for industry was assigned to this area. The client/server system for central building control technology developed by us in this field is now successfully used in a large number of buildings of large German automotive manufacturers as well as in public institutions such as hospitals and university buildings.
At the end of the 1990s, the areas of messaging, workflow management and collaboration with the main areas of operation management and administration in industrial companies were added - keyword: "Business Intelligence". Here, too, we offer our customers individual software solutions that are always based on broad standards, enabling you to handle your tasks quickly and effectively.
Another business unit in which we have been successfully operating for several years is the Office & Mobile Software division. In this area, we mainly develop "stand alone" applications for the office and departmental sector. The applications we develop are particularly distinguished by their ease of use and ease of use.
Today, Envel Informationssysteme GmbH offers a wide range of services in the fields of information processing and corporate communication. In addition to the realization of projects and the development of new products, consulting, planning and conception are among the cornerstones of our activities. We understand this as the basis and the core of our service for our customers.
